Luke Young believes Aston Villa's recent results and fleet-footed forwards make them a team to fear in the Premier League this season.
Martin O'Neill's men followed up their impressive 2-0 victory over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium with a 0-0 home draw with champions Manchester United.
Villa currently sit in fourth place in the table, one point ahead of the troubled Gunners, who were beaten again on Saturday as they slipped to a 3-0 reverse at Manchester City.
Full-back Young admits that a Champions League berth is O'Neill's target for the season, although he insists everyone at Villa is keeping their feet firmly on the ground.
But with the pace of Gabriel Agbonlahor, Ashley Young and James Milner to call upon up front, the defender believes opponents will have their work cut out keeping Villa quiet.
He told the Birmingham Mail: "We'll take it as it comes and let other people talk about fourth.
"We are going for it. The manager has made it clear to us he is desperate to get into the top four and he tells us every game is big no matter who it is against.
"We've beaten Arsenal and we've got a great result against United so perhaps we feel like we can go on and do it now.
"When we went to Chelsea we didn't give a good account of ourselves but the Arsenal game gave us a bit of confidence and after this we can take a little bit more again.
"Hopefully they see the way we are playing and there is a bit of a fear factor there at the moment, especially with the way we break and the pace we've got.
"Gabby Agbonlahor, Ashley Young and James Milner - and with John Carew coming off the bench - we have a lot of attacking assets.
"To do it (finish fourth) would be incredible but there is a long way to go. We are just working really hard every week and every game we go into we are trying to win."
Impressive display by Villa without a doubt.. Hopefully, their players don't get poached by "bigger" clubs.. Maybe we see suddenly one new investor from dunoe where come buy up Villa..

a team to fear?
not really lah.
but surely a team sure of talents.
