Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has refused to rule out a move for England international David Beckham.
The 33-year-old LA Galaxy midfielder's future seems mapped out with a loan spell at MilanĀ confirmed for the New Year before a likely return to the United States and his bumper deal in MLS.
Nevertheless, Redknapp has retained an interest in a player he would have liked to take to Portsmouth and is a confirmed admirer of the former Manchester United star's passing skills.
Writing in his column in The Sun ahead of Pompey's Uefa Cup tie with Milan, Redknapp stated: "It'sĀ a shame David Beckham isn't playing although, when he arrives in Milan in January, I'm sure he'll be a big success.
"He's a class act.
"He could still do a job at Spurs one day.
"Never say never in football."
Beckham has always had a soft spot for Spurs as his grandfather supported them and he trained with the North Londoners as a schoolboy.
However, he has also gone on record as saying he would find it impossible to play for another Premier League club after leaving United.
true, he's a gem to have. but with this current age, i guess not much playing time left for him, just to sell his jersey maybe?
