Drog's shock Inter talks

Inter chief Marco Branca is understood to have met the striker at a London restaurant on Monday.
The meeting jolted the Blues as they flew out to Bordeaux for tonight’s crucial Champions League clash.
Inter coach Jose Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes was also present in London with vice-president Branca.
The incident took place at trendy Italian restaurant Lucio — a favourite of Chelsea players and executives.
Reports in Italy claim former Chelsea boss Mourinho is keen to sign Drogba, 30, in the January transfer window.
Mourinho said: “I don’t know if my agent was there.”

IN THE DARK ... Phil Scolari looks puzzled
DIDIER DROGBA has a habit of making an impact on Chelsea’s Champions League campaigns — unfortunately, not always a positive one. The Ivory Coast star is serving a three-match domestic ban for throwing a coin into the crowd during the Carling Cup defeat by Burnley.
So he should have been champing at the bit to get stuck into Bordeaux tonight. Instead, he has left his manager seething and will warm the bench.
It is over a London meeting believed to have taken place between Drogba and Inter Milan vice-president Marco Branca.
Blues chief Phil Scolari could barely hide his anger yesterday as he fielded questions about the striker’s whereabouts on Monday night.
Scolari began with a joke, declaring: “I don’t sleep with Didier.” But it soon became no laughing matter.
Pressed again on whether he knew of the meeting, and if Drogba had permission, Scolari was less jovial.
He added: “I’m not a policeman to my players. Ask Peter Kenyon or Roman Abramovich. I am just the coach.” A win for the Blues tonight would see qualification guaranteed for the knockout phase.
sell drogba while he is worth some money.
why keep someone who is already so old?

Lolx go Inter ba or swop with Adriano or Crespo?

There certainly would appear to be something behind the 'Drogba to Inter' rumours.
Inter coach Jose Mourinho has denied that he sent his agent and Nerazzurri chief Marco Branca to London with a view to convincing Drogba and his representatives to make the switch to Serie A. However, he did so in a cheeky manner.
Meanwhile, Blues boss Luis Felipe Scolari appeared to be rattled by the now infamous phantom dinner date, and now the Ivorian himself has refused to comment outright.
Drogs said to Sky Sports: "Inter? I don't have anything to say. No comment about the supposed meeting.
"I have a contract with Chelsea until 2010 and I'm still upset about the reaction on my comeback game."
Drogba's coin-throwing antics in the Carling Cup defeat to Burnley have put his attitude into the spotlight. His injury problems are hampering him as he looks to force his way into the side ahead of red-hot Nicolas Anelka. Thus, many feel he'll follow ex-Blues gaffer and mentor Mourinho to Italy.
confirmed, scolari wants adriano in drogba deal, chelsea say they had enough of this idiot.
please go.. i hate u

The striker — left on the bench for an hour of last night’s draw with Bordeaux — described the last six months as the “worst of my life”.
SunSport revealed yesterday Drogba secretly met Inter Milan’s vice-president Marco Branca in London on Monday. And, after being banned for three games for hurling a coin at Burnley fans during a Carling Cup tie, Drogba admitted: “You can say the last six months have been the worst in my career.
“It’s been really tough for me. But I’ve been through difficult moments before so I know how to get myself out of these.”
Then, when asked how he would achieve that, the Ivory Coast star ominously smiled and replied: “I will do it.”
Drogba, 30, showed remorse for what happened during the Burnley match. He told Sky Sports: “It was a reaction. Maybe, it was too much. I feel like what I’ve done is really, really, really, really bad.
“So it’s better for me to be quiet on that and to be back on the pitch and playing, doing what I know best.”
