Scolari has got off to an impressive start as Chelsea manager
The FA is to investigate comments made by Luiz Felipe Scolari after he accused referee Mike Dean of “killing” his Chelsea team and hinted at a conspiracy to keep Arsenal in the Barclays Premier League title race.
The Chelsea manager has demanded an apology from Dean after his assistant failed to spot that Robin van Persie was offside before scoring the first of his two goals in Arsenal's 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge. Scolari went on to criticise the referee for incorrectly blowing up when Salomon Kalou was through on goal in the fifth minute.
"We are aware of the comments and will be looking at them in due course," an FA spokesman said. After yesterday's game, Scolari said: "I want only after tomorrow that he [Dean] looks at the TV and the referee and the linesman see they are wrong and they say sorry. That is all I want, no more, because they were not good and made a mistake."
Seething Scolari cleared by FA
The FA have confirmed Luiz Felipe Scolari will not face any action over his outburst at the end of Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to Arsenal.
