Chelsea have reached an out-of-court agreement with Norwegian club
Lyn Oslo in their dispute over the transfer of John Mikel Obi.

The Blues issued a High Court claim against Lyn and their former chief executive Morgan Andersen in October in an effort to recoup the £16 million transfer fee they paid for the Nigerian, who had seemingly been contracted to Manchester United as well in a highly complicated deal.
Chelsea ended up paying £12 million to United and £4m to Lyn but claimed the transfer was based on the "fraudulent misrepresentation that Mikel had an employment contract with Lyn".
A short statement on the club's website confirmed the matter relating to Lyn had been resolved out of court but figures were not revealed.
It read: "Chelsea Football Club and FC Lyn Oslo have resolved all matters between the two clubs with regard to John Mikel Obi.
"The terms of the agreement will remain confidential. There will be no further comment."
Chelsea
decided to take the matter to court after Andersen was convicted in
Norway of forging documents relating to the player in 2005. He was
given a
one-year suspended sentence when the court case concluded this year.
