Go lions!
I predicted..erm...draw 1st den 1nd leg den sg win
I see Vietnam as the up and coming team in the region and Singapore being happy at where they are now. This 1st leg game has the word 'draw' written all over but I predict a narrow 1-0 from either side.
AWAY GOAL RULE DOES NOT APPLY
HANOI (16 Dec 2008) – The away goal rule will not apply in the semi-finals of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008.

If no decisive result is obtained after the end of the extension time, the winner shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the decisions of FIFA.

OMG... Singapore is defending like Sunderland...
hahaha sg defence cmi...attack also cmi
Omg Vietnam suddenly look like Thailand, and Singapore made to look very ordinary indeed.
wa vietnam so good today sad they didn't get anything out of it
sg lost to them in terms of speed and stamina
Wa.. I was rooting for a vietnam win. How did they not win?![]()
First half so many chances.. alamak, bullshit lah!![]()
I guess the Sg team players must have been watching a lot of the recent epl matches on "How to hold out for a draw"...
Park your bus, lorry, mini van, car, anything you can get your hands on between the goalposts and you will keep a clean sheet... lol
den who win?
0-0 draw?
Hard to imagine Singapore losing to Vietnam in the return match but they need to pull up their socks soon cuz Thailand is right on track for the championship.
That's right Singapore!
Show them it's our cup double winning streak is not a fluke!
Beat Vietnam, whether by 1 goal or by penalty shoot-out.
We're aiming our eyes on Thailand.
Beating Thailand, coached by Peter Reid (Ex-Sunderlund boss), will position ourselves as true ASEAN football kings in the 21 century!

Singapore has to keep moving forward in soccer and in need of fresh talents and ideas cuz the crowd is getting bored of the same results. The Singapore team shouldnt be labelled as one lucky team who won twice but a kickass team feared in the region but to be realistic about that it has to got to go through some radical change (no punt intended).....Raddy must also go !

but it's sure going to be tough. Peter has e experience of e most lucarative football leagues in e world.
i thought S'pore got owned last night by Vietnam, their players were much faster, sharper, and more skillful technically as well.
I think the same will happen in the home leg, unless the S'pore team wake up in time.
have u sg imported retired Zindane? and Paul Gascoin?
