Arshavin love for the blues

  Zenit St Petersburg forward Andrei Arshavin remains in the shop window and has given a nudge to Luiz Felipe Scolari by revealing he is a fan of Chelsea.

  Russia international Arshavin is dying to secure a move to a top European side, and has claimed The Premier League and the Primera Liga are the only leagues he wishes to play in.

  The 27-year-old has confirmed being a Barcelona supporter, and said for the very first time that Chelsea are the English team he likes most.

  Arshavin was strongly linked with Tottenham during the summer, but Zenit priced the attacker out of the market.

  Arshavin told Don Ballon: “I still want to play abroad. I would like to play in Spain or England.

  “Barca are my favourite team and in England I used to like Manchester United, but right now I prefer Chelsea.”
