Theo Walcott’s recovery from a dislocated shoulder is going according to plan, with the Arsenal forward anticipating meeting his scheduled return date of mid-February.
Walcott sustained the injury while training with the England squad in November and underwent surgery, with the original prognosis from Gunners boss Arsene Wenger being that the 19-year-old would be out for “at least three months”.
The rehabilitation period is going exactly according to plan, and Walcott fully expects to feature again for the north London side in time for Arsenal’s Champions League last-16 tie on February 24 or 25.
"Everything is fine," said Walcott. "I am expecting to be back mid-February."
