Milan were comprehensively trashed by Juventus last Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico, dropping to fourth place in the Serie A standings.
Carlo Ancelotti was not able to count on injured midfielder Gennaro Gattuso and Brazilian star Kakà, who is struggling with injury, as confirmed by Vice President Adriano Galliani this morning.
“No, it’s [Kaká's injury] not pubalgia,” Carletto declared, according to the Corriere dello Sport, “and I feel he could even play next Sunday.”
But despite suffering a third defeat in their last four encounters, the ex-Juve tactician maintains they are not in crisis and will soon turn the tide.
“We need to be more compact, otherwise our back-line will often be caught out,” he mused.
“I don’t think that we can single out individual players or even an entire department, and we also cannot bemoan Ringhio’s absence.
“It’s the whole side that need to be more attentive, the problem simply lies in our mentality.”
