NICKLAS BENDTNER has given Arsene Wenger a festive headache by insisting he will quit Arsenal if he fails to become a first-team regular.
The 20-year-old is currently behind Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie in the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.
With Adebayor facing a ban following his sending off against Liverpool on Sunday, and doubts remaining over Edurado's fitness, the Dane's comments will only serve to unsettle the North Londoners ahead of the hectic Christmas schedule.
Bendtner said: "It is quite clear that my priority is to play football.
"I know what I want. If it doesn't happen at Arsenal, I will move away from the club.
"I want to spend the whole remainder of my career playing, wherever I am — I want to play solid."
Bendtner has been linked with a switch to Bayern Munich but remains determined to establish himself as a regular starter for Arsene Wenger's side.
He added: "I am not even across all the rumours because I am an Arsenal player and appreciate the club very much.
"I hope I can be here for a long time yet. For me, Arsenal are a dream club."
