Benitez bids to bring Heskey back

  Liverpool are launching a £4 million bid for Wigan Athletic striker Emile Heskey.

  

  Reds manager Rafa Benitez is desperate for cover in attack because of Fernando Torres’ hamstring problems.

  

  Heskey, who spent four years at Liverpool before leaving in 2004, is out of contract in the summer and the Latics could cash in now, says The Sun.

  Wigan boss Steve Bruce insisted he will not let Heskey, 30, leave on a cut-price deal. But he knows the cash could make Amr Zaki’s loan move from El Zamalek permanent.

  Robbie Keane operate well on 4-4-2 system.

  Kuyt is too weak and blur to serve a supporting striker for Keane.

  Heskey have been peforming the supporting role for mickey so he will do a excellent job.

  If Ah Ben can convince Mickey to join in Jan 09, then Liverpool would have more firepower upfront.

  Liverpool is desperate now so it is a MUST to get some guy to hold the ball up front.

  Robo was good but he was not loved by Ah Ben.

  We MUST win the EPL this season or else Ah Ben should be sacked.

  buy liao never him a chance still kbkb he dont perform. play him the role he desire la. instead of wasting more money to buy heskey. in the first place why sell crouch? LPPL.

  heskey definitely wont perform for the long term. He may do well for 1/2 a year or 1.5 year but i doubt it also.
