Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is ready to drop his pursuit of Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing.
Redknapp's leading target is understood to be Downing, but Spurs are not keen on his £15million price tag, says the Mirror.
Redknapp revealed: "I've got one or two players in mind, but can't say we're near to signing anybody.
"People are talking crazy prices that we wouldn't be willing to pay, and if we can't get the players we want at sensible prices, I will not bring in anybody."
