Frank Ribéry has revealed that his dream is to play for one of Europe's
richest clubs - and he believes that he is a similar player to Lionel
Messi in the way that both can influence a game.
The French international is enjoying his spell with Bayern Munich, but has told Kicker that he dreams of joining the likes of Barcelona, Real Madird, Manchester United or Chelsea.
When
Ribéry chose to join Bayern in the summer of 2007, that move caused a
stir, while injury at Euro 2008 prevented any of the continent's
biggest spenders from making an approach.
"Bayern is obviously one of the biggest and best clubs in the world," he said.
"Obviously there are other clubs who would be a dream: Real Madrid and Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester United.
"I certainly love Real Madrid because of their great tradition, but I feel happy here at Bayern. We will have to wait and see what the future holds."
His revelation that he would like to play for Spain's or England's finest may not be a surprise - and nor will the comparison to Messi, even if Ribéry made it himself.

Arsenal To Swap Nicklas Bendtner For Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery?
Quite how the Gunners plan to convince Bayern this is a good move isn't clear, but reports are suggesting it's a possibility...
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to exchange Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner for fiery French winger Franck Ribery in a sensational swap deal with Bayern Munich.
Arsenal's midfield is in dire need of reinforcements and Wenger could change his policy of trusting his youthful squad in order to buy established stars during the January transfer window.
Ribery would add some much needed width to the Arsenal midfield, and relieve Denilson or Samir Nasri of their flank midfield roles as Wenger looks to strengthen his squad.
Ribery would demand a transfer fee of around £20 million, but as the deal could involve Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, the fee could be as little as £10m plus Bendtner.
Ribery was reportedly a target for Arsenal before he made the move from Olympique Marseille to the Allianz Arena, leaving many Arsenal fans angry as they felt Wenger did not do enough to push the transfer of the Frenchman to The Emirates Stadium.
Ribery has since played 39 Bundesliga games for Bayern, scoring 17 times in the process, and would greatly add to the quality of the Arsenal side by contributing more goals from midfield, something The Gunners have missed since they lost the likes of Freddie Ljungberg and Robert Pires.
Meanwhile 20-year-old Bendtner has found himself down the pecking order at The Emirates Stadium, and would be open to a move to Germany in order to kick start his career.
The Danish striker has not been as consistent as Wenger would have hoped since his return from his loan spell at Birmingham City, scoring just six goals in his 38 Premier League appearances for the club.
i just dont think it is true , something just dont make any sense to bayern at all.
