Sunderland forward El-Hadji Diouf has revealed that both Blackburn and Wigan are interested in signing him.
The 27-year-old Senegal international has failed to establish himself in the first-team at the Stadium of Light since his summer move from Bolton, and recently admitted he would be happy to return to his former club.
But he now claims that former Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is interested in taking him to Ewood Park, while Steve Bruce is also said to have registered his interest.
“Sam Allardyce wants me to join him and Wigan’s manager has called me as well,” he said in The Sun.
“I am not allowed to make two transfers during the same season but can leave if the clubs agree.
“I signed a four-year contract with Sunderland and don’t want to leave on bad terms.
“I hope they will find a solution.”
