According to Sky Sports News, Bolton Wanderers are on the verge of signing 31-year-old Denilson.
The
Brazilian, who was once the world's most expensive player, was released
by Palmeiras last month, and is now plotting a comeback in Europe.
Real
Betis bought Denilson from Sao Paulo for over $30m USD in 1998, but the
winger's career took a circuituous route after this, resulting in his
returning to Brazil.
Bolton Wanderers coach Gary Megson is
thought to be eager to sign a player of Denilson's stature, although
some may question the Brazilian's suitability to the Premier League.
WA bluff ppl one.
Chey I tought Arsenal Denilson..
Deni lands Trotters trial

The tricky winger, 31, is a free agent after leaving Palmeiras last month.
Trotters boss Gary Megson has moved quickly to bring over Denilson for a week’s training at the Reebok.
He hit the headlines in 1998 when he signed for Real Betis for £21million from Sao Paolo. Four years later, Denilson won the World Cup under Chelsea boss Phil Scolari.
He has since had spells with Flamengo and Bordeaux.
Megson wants to sign a winger and had a £3m bid for West Brom’s James Morrison rejected last week.
Sunderland star Kieran Richardson is also a target.
