Barcelona plan stunning £45M raid for Arsenal stars

  Barcelona are planning an amazing £45 million raid on Arsenal for star duo Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie.

  The Daily Star says Barca feel confident they can land the two players, having successfully lured Alexander Hleb away from the Emirates.

  Fabregas has always been on Barcelona's wish list and now Van Persie has been added to it following a meeting between coach Pep Guardiola and sporting director Txiki Beguiristain.

  A Barca source says: "This is not the first time that Barca have looked at Van Persie, but there is a feeling that he has now matured and is ready for the move."

  Barca midfielder Yaya Toure could be used as part of an exchange deal.

  Arsenal team is currently pretty low in moral as compare to the other teams like, Chelsea, ManU and Liverpool so it does makes senses for other clubs to try and lure players away, with hardly any chances of winning any major silverware this season and the fact that reinforcement seems far and few, players might look for "better prospect" hence big clubs would usually go after such clubs for their best players.. it happened in every league around the world

  Barcelona playing style is very similiar to Arsenal...Fabregas is the team;s engine...if he goes, Arsenal will be in deep $hit...

   

  Real Madrid bought players anywhere really...from Chelsea (Robben), Manure (Heinze, Ruud), Liverpool (Jerzy Dudek, Mcmanaman, Owen)
  Now Juande Ramos is raiding everyone in PL...Diarra (Pompey)...maybe Pennant, Lennon, etc.

  I belief Fabregas will return to Barcelona eventually... I once said by the time he is 25, he will be a Barce player...

  He came from Barcelona, they want him back, he still dream of putting on their shirt again, and they have his best friend in Hleb over there too... Its like a match made in heaven... Eventually it will happen, its just a matter of timing only...

  And Frankly, I don't think the Arsenal board will be too disappointed when that time comes... I think they will try to strip the club off most of their valuable assets before selling the whole club away... At the end, more $$$ for the directors to walk away with... Making them "Happy sellers"...
