New Manchester City signing Wayne Bridge left Chelsea because he was frustrated with his lack of first team opportunities.
"I thought I was going to get a lot more games that what I had been doing," the £:10million full back said.
"It just was not happening and it was probably the most frustrated I have been.
"There was a time when I had a string of games in the first team, and then Ashley Cole came straight back in.
"Maybe he (Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari) thinks Ashley Cole is a better left-back than me - that is the way football goes.
"No matter how well I played, I was never going to establish myself there," he believes.
"I spoke to Scolari but I'll leave that between me and him - and I left on a good note.
"Everyone was happy when an offer from Manchester City was put on the table - and for me it is a great opportunity to start playing week in week out."

ya.. just hope you'll still get to see the same manager next season, else someone comes in and decided to buy some German left back and off you rest in the bench again..
