Good News for Pool... Marouane Fellaini probably Everton's best player will be out...

Marouane Fellaini looked as if he was going to tear his hair out - all of it - and David Moyes was so convinced his £15million midfielder had been wronged, he decided to test the theory that only a certain manager can get away with taking referees to task.
The Everton manager had gambled by selecting Fellaini against Hull and seen it blow up in his face as one foul too many led to the inevitable sanction of a 10th booking this season - and expulsion from the forthcoming derbies with Liverpool.
Costly as well, given Fellaini's growing influence, yet there was a swift reminder of the backs-to-the-wall spirit that has served Everton so well. Defender Phil Jagielka took a distinctly sideways look at his team-mate's disciplinary problems and promised that Barclays Premier League points and an FA Cup fifth-round place would still be hard to come by for Liverpool.
Self-pity seemed the last thing on Everton minds as Jagielka gently poked fun at a gangling frame topped off by a shock of tight curls yet still fired a warning to their near-neighbours.
He said: 'There was always a danger of this happening, because, let's be fair, Felli doesn't exactly go four or five games without seeing a yellow card. Maybe he can adapt a bit and there are signs he is, because he's no longer getting booked every game. It's every other game now!
'He does seem to be a target for referees and his size doesn't help. When he lifts a foot to try to win the ball, like today, it's only waist-high to him, but it's chin-high to most opponents. His hairstyle makes him even bigger and every time he stretches an arm or leg he is liable to catch someone.
'But he's not going to shrink and I can't see him getting his hair cut, so we're stuck with it. We bought him for the overall package and that includes putting his foot in. That's the sort of team we are. We've got some fantastic footballers but we are essentially an up-and-at-'em side and he is a key part of that.
'We are going to miss him against Liverpool, but the attitude is that someone else will come in and we'll go to Anfield full of determination.
only 2 goals in the first half throughout the whole epl.. -.-

Bolton (0) 0 Man Utd (0) 1
Dimitar Berbatov's last-minute header has sent Manchester United to the Premier League summit.
It appeared United would have to settle for a point despite keeping a record-equalling 10th clean sheet.
However, when Carlos Tevez broke free of the Bolton defence, his cross was perfect for Berbatov, who finally broke Jussi Jaaskelainen's brave resistance.

Chelsea (0) 2 Stoke (0) 1
Two late goals from substitute Juliano Belletti and Frank Lampard capped a dramatic fightback by Chelsea to ease the pressure on their under-fire manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.
Delap put struggling Stoke in front with a 59th minute goal but Belletti, on for Jose Bosingwa, headed a dramatic equaliser with three minutes remaining.
Then, in second-half stoppage time, Lampard fired the ball home from 20 yards for a sensational finish.

Sunderland (1) 1 Aston Villa (0) 2
Gareth Barry kept 10-man Aston Villa's Champions League charge on track in an explosive encounter at Sunderland.
The Villa captain smashed home an 80th-minute penalty, controversially awarded for substitute Paul McShane's challenge on Gabriel Agbonlahor, after Ashley Young had been sent off for a dreadful tackle on Dean Whitehead.
James Milner had earlier dragged the visitors back into the game with a 60th-minute equaliser, after Danny Collins had given the home side an 11th-minute lead.

Blackburn (0) 3 Newcastle (0) 0
Blackburn lifted themselves out of the Premier League relegation zone with a 3-0 victory over Newcastle at Ewood Park.
Two goals in the space of five second-half minutes from Benni McCarthy and Jason Roberts lit up what was otherwise a poor game lacking in quality.
Roberts added the third four minutes from time, just after Nicky Butt had been sent off for a second bookable offence for clattering into David Dunn.

Man City (0) 1 Wigan (0) 0
Pablo Zabaleta steered 10-man Manchester City to victory against Wigan with his first goal for the club.
The Argentinian showed good skill to rattle home a shot from 20 yards in the 51st minute, after Daniel Sturridge's cross had only been half-cleared.
A minute later City were reduced to 10 men when skipper Richard Dunne was sent off and Wigan should have equalised only for Amr Zaki to head over from close range.

West Brom (1) 3 Middlesbrough (0) 0
Robert Koren produced an inspired display to help West Brom move off the bottom of the Premier League - and drag Gareth Southgate's Middlesbrough further into the relegation mire.
The Slovenia international set up one goal for debutant Marc-Antoine Fortune, and scored another himself, after Chris Brunt had made an early breakthrough.
It enabled Albion to complete their first ever Premier League double - after a 1-0 win at the Riverside Stadium earlier in the season - and means Boro have now gone 10 league games without a win.
Tonight's Tottenham v Portsmouth game is a MUST-WIN game for Harry's boys. Their recent patchy form result in them rooted to the bottom of the table after West Brom's massive 3-0 win last night.
A win tonight over pompeys will propel them 8 places up to 12th.
