  There's growing speculation that Chelsea will face a money-spinning raid from Manchester City for captain John Terry.

  The Sun says City will offer £40million for the Chelsea skipper — and are convinced he wants to become City’s new captain.

  Boss Mark Hughes told owner Sheikh Mansour when he took over that his dream buys would be Kaka to create, Robinho to score and Terry to organise the defence and lead the team.

  And though Chelsea are still in the Champions League and title race, City will try to get Terry during the transfer window.

  Hughes is also hunting Craig Bellamy, Scott Parker, Roque Santa Cruz and Hamburg’s Dutch midfielder Nigel de Jong.

  Terry and Lampard can be replaced just like any of the current stars in Chelsea but having Terry in any team will be a huge boast for them, he is not as fast as many others but his commitment level puts him way ahead of even players like Rio even thou i'm a big fan of Rio and kinda dislike Terry
