Manchester City are weighing up a new swap offer for Newcastle United goalkeeper Shay Given.
The Daily Mail says City may throw midfielder Michael Johnson in to a proposed deal for Newcastle goalkeeper Given. City made an improved offer of £9m over the weekend for the Republic of Ireland international but are still struggling to convince the north-east club to sell.
Now they may offer Johnson, 20, to Newcastle after the youngster lost his way at City.
Michael Johnson only last season being dubbed as the next Stevie G. This season gone case liao?

actually i think it's a good deal. shay given is already starting to lose faith in newcastle and i don't think players that lose their faith will be able to play well consistently.
michael johnson is one for the future - together with the likes of jamie o'hara, adam johnson etc etc... definately an england regular in 5 years time i'd say

given may be abit old, but he's still going strong for sure
but the GK generally had a longer live span then out field players so even at his age i think his got at least an good 4-5 years..
