Arshavin: heading for the Emirates
Arsenal hope at last to conclude a deal for Andrei Arshavin in the next 48 hours after Zenit St Petersburg said they would be prepared to accept an improved offer of around £15million in instalments over two years for the Russia international forward.
hmmm... babyface assasin no.2
Why is arsenal so poor that they have to pay by installment?
dont they suppose to have 70million in war chest?
I think most clubs thesedays buy players by paying it in 2, 3 or even 4 installments... So its nothing unusual... I think 2 installments is consider very good already...
The Man City Robinho deal was said to be $32m at one go to Real, thats why they were also more happy to sell to City rather than Chelsea who had installment payment as well...
interesting to see how arshavin and fabregas works together in the middle..

Are'nt the both attacking midfielders? I think Wenger has to play either one or the other and knowing him, I think it'll be fabregas. This does not bode well
Lolx Can this Russian come Arsenal ASAP ...

i tink arshavin will play just behind one striker
more of the role of supporting striker when fabregas returns.
