Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says he can "smell" the title run-in.
Ferguson said: “The smell of the title run-in is there and I am looking for us to raise our game even more.
“We have been on a good run lately and what we want is a great run.”
Tonight, United travel to West Brom who have won three of their last five games, reviving hopes at The Hawthorns of top-flight survival.
Ferguson admitted: “Teams are so well matched that there is great movement up and down the division for a lot of clubs.
“A couple of wins can catapult a team from a relegation position to mid-table. Make a mistake at this level and it’s odds-on you will be punished. It’s a very unforgiving league.”
