Blackburn striker Matt Derbyshire is reportedly in line to make a surprise move to Greek side Olympiakos before the end of the transfer window.
Olympiakos have approached Rovers about signing the England Under-21 international on loan until the end of the season.
The Greek side have been impressed by Derbyshire's performances for club and country over the last 12 months
Derbyshire has found himself down the pecking order at Ewood Park this season with Roque Santa Cruz, Benni McCarthy and Jason Roberts ahead of him in Sam Allardyce's plans.
The 22-year-old has jumped at the chance to join the Greek titans as he searches for regular first-team action.
Derbyshire is flying out to Athens to tie up the loan move and is expected to finalise the deal on Friday.
