  Crespo Unfazed Despite No Champions League

  The former Lazio man is happy with doing nothing at the San Siro as he refuses to budge...

  

   

  Inter striker Hernan Crespo is determined to stay on at the club and accept a lack of first-team football as well as no Champions League place rather than move elsewhere.
  
  Crespo was set to leave the Nerazzurri during the January transfer window with a number of clubs, including Bologna and Roma, interested in him.
  
  The Argentinian is unhappy at San Siro, yet he wants to remain. His decision has baffled many as he is likely to sit on the bench for the remainder of the season.
  
  "I am not the one who makes the decisions," Crespo is quoted as saying in Tuttosport, after being left out of the Champions League list.
  
  "It's doesn't really matter, they are not my choices and there is nothing I can do about it.
  
  "I don't really see any reasons as to why I should leave in January."
  
  Mourinho had asked the club to get rid of deadwood players, and Crespo fell into that category as far as the coach was concerned.
  
  Genoa, Sampdoria and Bologna as well as the Giallorossi all tried to rumble for the hitman, but he declined moves according to reports, preferring to stay at Appiano Gentile instead.
  
  Crespo is likely to decide his future at the end of the season.

  Maybe his current pay at Inter is very high and moving to those club will saw a pay cut.  At his age, money is more important than glory!
