SPECIAL ONE ... Jose Mourinho
The Special One, currently in charge at Inter Milan, has enjoyed a friendly rivalry with Ferguson from his time at Porto and Chelsea.
But should the 67-year-old decide to call time on his illustrious spell at Old Trafford, Robson believes Mourinho would not be an ideal replacement.
He said: "I just don't agree when I hear people say that Jose is the perfect boss to take over from Sir Alex.
"Jose is a great coach and the things he achieved at Porto and Chelsea mean he commands huge respect.
"But Manchester United aren't just a club who only want to win things. The fans demand that success is achieved by playing the Manchester United way.
"Attacking football is a vital part of the club's heritage. For me, Jose Mourinho is too cautious in his approach to the game to be manager of Manchester United.
"The important thing for any manager who follows in Sir Alex Ferguson's footsteps is to recognise the traditions of Manchester United and maintain them."

and there's no special one in man u..... there's only a special club there
his attitude will have negative impact on man u too.
I think the best candidate will be Martin O'Neil...
either him

or him

or him

O'Neil to replace Fergie please!
While I'm inclined to choose O'Neill, I still think at times his tactics sucks. Or maybe because he doesn't have the kind of budget or quality of players that Utd have. But I like the way he motivates his players. Look at the miracle works he did at Leicester, Celtic and now Villa...
Personally I'd love Eric Cantona to be back. But he must first become Asst Mgr first to learn the ropes. Managing a beach soccer team is much different than a club side no matter how much he knows the club like the back of his hands...
