Why do GK's like to spit in their gloves.
Good luck? or Something more scientific?
shuang?
to keep the gloves moist. helps with grip. a keeper's glove cannot be to dry or to wet.
so that, the reserve keeper will not ask them to share gloves?
for a while, I wonder how come the players seems to have this wet patch on their chests.. well, now I know they put Vicks or some ointment to aid their breathing in cold weather..
Ben's point is correct... The spit has some sticky enzyme that helps the rubber on the glove give it a better grip on the ball... Try it....
So in-chimi-dating ![]()
