Nicklas Bendtner has denied quotes attributed to him that he deserved to be an Arsenal starter.
He told Setanta Sports: “What is written in the newspapers I take no notice of because it’s not true.
“I try to play here and be a part of the team, I don’t try to favour myself. I’m happy here.”
