Arsenal’s Kolo Toure has explained to Setanta Sports News why he missed the second half kick-off against Roma.
Arsenal impressed against their Roman guests in the 1-0 Champions League victory at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, but an embarrassing moment occurred shortly after the interval.
The Gunners’ captain received a yellow card in the 46th minute, with the defender missing the start of the second half and coming on the pitch without asking permission from the referee.
Toure has declared that he did not know the rule, and that he arrived late because he was waiting for his defensive partner William Gallas in the changing room.
Toure told Setanta Sports News : “I came on the pitch with William because I was waiting for him in the dressing room.
“I'm always the last man to come off the dressing room.
“To be honest I didn’t know I was not allowed to come on the pitch without the permission of the referee.”
The ref didn't count before he start the half, he also should get a bloody yellow card. Cockster.
