Juventus playmaker Pavel Nedved has set his sights on winning the Champions League before quitting football in the summer.
The Czech legend has confirmed that he will hang up his boots at the end of the season after spending the last eight years with Juve.
And the 36-year-old, contracted until the end of the season, has declared that despite losing 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, The Old Lady are still capable of knocking Chelsea out of Europe.
“I will say stop at the end of the season, I think it’s the right moment,” Nedved told reporters at Stamford Bridge.
“It’s the moment to let younger players replace me. They deserve to play. You may think that I’m still young, but I will turn 37 shortly and I’m sure that it’s the moment to quit.
“Winning the Champions League would be the perfect scenario for the end of my career.
“Of course this defeat in London is not a great result, but anything can happen in the second leg in Turin.
“I think that Chelsea have 55% of chances to go through to the next round because of the single goal they scored, and we have 45%.
“No doubt this will be a tough game, but nothing’s impossible.”
