Madrid striker Aguero: I'm happy here

  There is a growing feeling inside Atletico Madrid that the time is right to cash in on Sergio Aguero.

  Aguero is furious after he was hooked against Porto this week by new coach Abel Resino and is convinced his game has stalled in the last 12 months.

  Atletico chief Emilio Gutierrez met with the father of Aguero yesterday and AS says there is a section of the board convinced now is the right time to sell the young Argentine.

  Manchester City, Chelsea and Inter Milan are heading a queue of clubs keen to take the striker off Atletico's hands.

  Cus Atletico cannot allow him to play at his maximum potential already and they want to sell him before he form drop? You need to be playing with and against the best to be the best.

  Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero insists he's not angling for a move away.

  Reports on the weekend suggested Aguero had instructed his minders to start sending out feelers for interested clubs.

  But Aguero said yesterday: "Now I am happy here and if the club still want me then I will remain.

  "Every time I play a good game there are rumours, but as I said, if one is content and happy at a club then it is impossible to leave. I have no reason to do so."
