Arsenal’s push for Champions League football next season has received a timely boost after Arsene Wenger revealed Theo Walcott will return to full training on Monday.
The promising England forward has been kicking his heels on the sidelines since November after having surgery on a shoulder injury sustained on international duty.
Walcott had targeted a return to action at the end of February, and is on course to only narrowly miss that deadline.
"Theo will join in on normal training on Monday and then we will see how he behaves with challenges," said Wenger.
His return to action comes as captain Cesc Fabregas closes in on full fitness after damaging knee ligaments.
