Anyway, he could generate some extra cash for Chelsea's summer
purchases if Roman don't want to come out extra dough... Cos the
names mentioned the,
1) Malouda
2) Ballack
3) Deco
4) Alex
5) Pizarro (out on loan)
Could only get you peanuts... Ballack if he leave, will be for
free... Pizarro, maybe salary too high so can only
continue being on loan... Maybe Alex is the only one that can
get some money but I don't think they will sell him cos he has done
quite ok so far...
Mr. Money.... right tell that to Kaka. Even if JT wanted to leave the bridge, which I'm willing to bet he doesn't given how he plays week in, week out, Chelsea wouldn't sell him. So what if he fetches 60mil? Who is going to marshall the defence? Who is going to marshall the team? Lampard's great, but the real captain is JT. And selling arguably the best CB in England to a "potential" league rival is just about the dumbest thing any club owner could do.
The only way i see him leaving is if Chelsea is not in contention for any trophies.
If you take Ballack, Deco, Malouda and Pizarro and sell them for 5 mil a pop, you already get 20mil, then add in drogba 8-10, ferreira a further 5-8 and Alex who could probably fetch 10 or more and you have enough to rebuild the team and pump in some young blood. There is no real need to sign "big names" (maybe aguero is worth it), but certainly not others, look at the above, Pizarro, Malouda and Deco, all came to Chelsea to wilt and die. No thanks, I'll take the young blood please.
Alex is not good enough, some might even say hes utter bollocks, I'd rather see Ivanovic start, too slow, gets skinned often and has no anticipation.
Sell the first 5 + Ferreira, bring in Zhirkov (LB cover/ offers width in mid), Quaresma and a young CM in the likes of Napoli's Hamsik and maybe some other striker if Droggs leaves.
