The Inter boss congratulates Roma boss Luciano Spalletti after the game.
Inter were awarded a controversial penalty against Roma at the weekend which clinched a point in a 3-3 draw to the frustration of Giallorossi coach Luciano Spalletti, but Mourinho was furious at the media coverage and used the pre-match press conference ahead of Inter's clash with Sampdoria to vent his frustrations.
"There was a big intellectual manipulation but this is not my job. I work in football and I don't like intellectual prostitution," Mourinho told Sky Sport Italia. "Major work was done to manipulate the public's opinion, but I like intellectual honesty.
"No-one has spoken about Roma who have great players, but they will win nothing at the end of the season.
"No-one has spoken about Milan who are 11 points behind us and they will win nothing at the end of the season.
"The same with Juventus who have won many points as a result of refereeing errors. We only saw one game where there was a ref mistake with us and that was at Siena."
Juve boss Claudio Ranieri has said he sympathised with Spalletti, and also claimed that, despite Mourinho's love/hate affair with the press, the Portuguese was a great communicator.
"The Giallorossi played a great match," he was quoted as saying by ANSA. "As for us, we have more points than last season, for which we deserve credit. We have to continue like this, without quitting, that should be our spirit. That's the spirit I used to have as a player, and since I wasn't very good, I always had to push myself to achieve results.
When asked about his managerial rival, Ranieri replied: "Mourinho? Me and [Roma coach Luciano] Spalletti aren't great communicators, but he is very good at that, perhaps he's a better communicator than coach.''
But Mourinho retorted: "If Ranieri is on Spalletti's side, I am on the side of (Catania coach) Walter Zenga, (Atalanta coach Luigi) Del Neri and (Fiorentina coach Cesare) Prandelli. All these coaches lost three points against Juve.
"Every time I switch the TV on, I see Spalletti, who is friends with everyone. I don't know if they pay him to be interviewed. I know that I am offered money to do interviews and I turn it down because I don't like prime time. I don't manipulate reality."
