Chelsea defender Paulo Ferreira has been ruled out of action for the rest of the season with damaged knee ligaments.
Guus Hiddink revealed that the Portuguese right back injured his anterior cruciate ligament in training on Thursday.
Ferreira is the third Chelsea player to have been hit by the same injury this season.
Michael Essien and Joe Cole have already missed sizeable chunks of this campaign after sustaining ligament damage.
