Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink admits he's disappointed that captain John Terry was involved in Ashley Cole's controversy in midweek.
Cole — who has not been fined by his club — was arrested and given a fixed penalty charge of £80 after his night out with Chelsea and England skipper Terry on Wednesday turned nasty.
Dutchman Hiddink added: “I have also spoken firmly with Terry. I am surprised I have to lecture two players like them.
“I don’t come from an innocent country and it’s not my first year in this business. But, to be honest, it’s amazing I’m speaking with Cole and Terry.
“If you fall once into a trap then you try to avoid the second. Sometimes you are challenged but you always have to be disciplined. It’s not always easy because players are human.
“Sometimes there is human reaction without justification. But I find it curious these two players who are involved.”
