Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic wants to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season with Serie A his preferred destination, according to his agent.
The Serbian international was signed from Lokomotiv Moscow for £9 million in January 2008 during Avram Grant's tenure as coach.
However, he failed to make an appearance for the Blues last season, and featured just nine times in the Premier League in 2008/09 under, former boss, Luiz Felipe Scolari, while temporary coach Guus Hiddink has yet to select him in any of his first four matches in charge.
And the 25-year-old, who was linked with a move to Manchester City during the winter transfer window, is now keen on a summer switch to Fiorentina in order to gain more regular first-team football, according to the the player's agent, Vlado Borozan.
“Branislav wants to leave Chelsea,” he said. “Fiorentina is his first choice at the moment. The cost? Now less than £10 million.”
