Eighteen players to go in Real Madrid clearout!!

  At least eight senior players will be shown the door at Real Madrid in the summer.

  Sport says Julien Faubert, Royston Drenthe, Fabio Cannavaro, Jerzy Dudek, Gabby Heinze, Michel Salgado, Rafael van der Vaart and Javier Saviola will all be offloaded by Real at the end of the season.

  Real coach Juande Ramos will also not be kept on - unless he wins the Spanish Liga title. There is a clause in his contract that it will be automatically renewed should he deliver a trophy at the end of the season.

  However, the collapse of Real at Liverpool this week is a huge blow against Ramos staying on.

  Wah, so many going ah? Even new purchase Rafael Van der Vaart going ah?

  I think they may buy a lot of new players for next season... Cos if I am not wrong, the CL final will be at their home ground next year... You can already bet they want to win it next year, or at least get to the final... home ground better chances...

  Heinze ? Liverpool once linked with him , well almost , until Real grapped him from ManU . Funguson don't like the idea of his players moving to his rival .

  2003 UEFA Champions League Final was played at man utd's home.

  I think its a shame that a club like RM still exists it it may boast alot of history but the way they are treating their players and managers are just despicable.

  Up to EIGHTEEN Real Madrid players could be offloaded at the end of the season.

  El Mundo Deportivo says Jordi Codina, Jerzy Dudek, Michel Salgado, Gabriel Heinze, Fabio Cannavaro, Javi Garcia, Mahamadou Diarra, Royston Drenthe, Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart, Christoph Metzelder, Javier Saviola, Julien Faubert, Marcelo and Miguel Torres will all be either touted around Europe or allowed to wind down their existing contracts through to June 30.

  The above 15 could be joined by trio Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Arjen Robben and Fernando Gago - all depending on how they perform between now and the end of the season.

  There are also eight untouchables, who Real will not consider offers for under any circumstances: Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Gonzalo Higuain, Lassana Diarra, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Guti and Raul.
