Chelsea sound out Makelele about return

  Chelsea have sounded out Paris Saint Germain midfielder Claude Makelele about a return to Stamford Bridge.

  France Football says Chelsea have asked 36 year-old Makelele about coming back to London at the end of the season.

  Chelsea management concede they miss the leadership and influence of Makelele and would welcome him back with open arms.
