Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is eyeing Valencia winger David Silva.
Benitez has new control of Liverpool's transfer policy after signing his five-year contract this week and wants to raid former club Valencia for Silva.
Juventus are also keen and know Valencia will seek at least £15 million for the Spain international at the end of this season.

Huh? Riera was bought in Sept'08 hence his first season for Liverpool will be 08/09.
And in 08/09 season manu lost to Liverpool on both home (1-4) and away (2-1) meeting.
Was there a third meeting that I've missed?

Ah Ben want to offload Babel.
Riera was considered a good buy this season as he was able to expand the left wing play to Liverpool.
But, he cannot defend as illustrated during the match against Man Utd.
As for Kuyt, he is Ah Ben's favourite.
Why ?
Ask him play where, he will play where, you never see him complain.
Bench him, he also tiam tiam, never kick up any fuss to be in the 1st team.
No trouble, I guess he dun make unnecessary trouble for himself and his team.
Only problem with him is that he rarely push forward to score.
One more thing is that he can tracked back and defend.
Ah Ben is a sucker for this type of players.

Ah Ben have to sell some players before he can buy.
He will sell Lucas, Agger, Alonso, Babel and Voronin.
Voronin is now the top scorer for the German League so I guess he will be worth more and he more or less want to stay in German.
Barry will be replacement for Alonso. Alonso is injury prone. (This is PAINFUL)
Agger will be offloaded cos he is not obedient any more.
Lucas and Babel have both made noise for more 1st team appearance.
That normally pissed Ah Ben off and create the opposite effect.
Although Babel is a good player, if Ah Ben dun have the vision to mould him into the next henry, he need to go to another club so that he can play for Holland.
The only player that Ah Ben want to retain but want to go is Benayoun.
He is like Garcia and have great vision for goal and is very hard to mark as he will sneak up and score a goal.
He have provided superb goal assistence for the striker for 1st 3 month of 2009 when Liverpool is suffering a down period.
If Liverpool win the double, he will be one of heros that made it possible, consider the depth of the squad is as thick as a piece of paper.
I thought Valentia is in debt? They defintely wun come cheap....
we wont be able to foresee who will get axed.
however, we can see that those who got irregular starts/played very few matches will have a higher probability of getting offloaded.
