Andrei Arshavin has hinted that he could hang up his boots as an Arsenal player.
The Russian playmaker, who is currently on international duty, preparing for the 2010 World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan, is apparently very happy in London.
The Uefa Cup winner has quickly settled into The Gunners’ team and he scored his debut goal against Blackburn Rovers, in the 4-0 win at Emirates Stadium.
Arshavin, who signed a three-and-a-half-year contract during the January transfer window and who has broken into The Gunners’ starting line-up, is thinking of finishing his career with Arsenal.
"The players are friendly and I feel comfortable with the team in general,” Arshavin told a press conference in Russia.
"I'm pleased to have a long-term contract and I could well finish my career here."
