Mikael Silvestre has vowed to help Arsenal’s push for silverware after returning for the reserves on Monday.
Silvestre has not played for The Gunners since January, when he was forced out of an FA Cup third round tie against Plymouth.
Since then Arsenal have progressed to the last four of the competition, as well as negotiating their way to the quarter finals of the Champions League.
Now Silvestre is back to add numbers to the Arsenal defence, having completed a full 90 minutes against Chelsea’s reserves.
"It is very good to be back," Silvestre told Arsenal’s official website.
"There have been so many big games and the team is doing well so you want to enjoy that as much as you can and be involved.
"I am glad of our progress and hopefully I can join in now."
