Arsenal star Gael Clichy says he is ‘delighted’ to be admired by Milan amid reports of a summer bid from the Italian giants.
The Rossoneri are believed to be huge fans of the French left back and reports in his homeland claim that the defender could be the subject of interest from the San Siro outfit in the summer.
Last season’s best Premier League left back Clichy has reacted to the news and said he is happy at Emirates Stadium.
But the player, who is under contract until 2012, has labelled Milan a ‘super great club’ and declared he is ‘delighted’ to see his name associated to the San Siro outfit.
Milan and Arsenal already collaborated in the recent past, with Philippe Senderos sent on loan to Italy last summer and Mathieu Flamini joining them as a free agent last summer.
“I am not aware of it,” Clichy told L’Equipe when asked about Milan’s interest in his services.
“I am very happy at Arsenal.
“But the truth is that Milan are a mega club.
“You are [always] delighted to know that such team are following you.”
-.- So proud is it go join Milan lor we dun need to u lia0

Gael Clichy’s agent has claimed that Arsenal turned down a £23 million bid from Manchester City for the player.
Clichy's future has been a hot topic of debate in recent days, after he admitted he was flattered by reported interest from Serie A giants Milan.
Arsene Wenger holds the defender in the highest regard and it would appear that a huge offer will be needed to prise him away from The Emirates, as his agent claims a major bid was rebuffed in January.
Clichy's agent claims City, who signed Wayne Bridge from Chelsea in January, came to the table with a £23 million offer.
As a consequence, the agent does not think that Wenger’s side are prepared to accept any offer for one of their main players.
“Gael is under contract until 2012 with Arsenal,” his agent told Calcio Mercato.
“Milan must reach an agreement with Arsenal and then speak to us.
“But the problem is that I do not believe that The Gunners want to let the player go because they turned down a €25 million (£23 million) offer from Manchester City in January.”

Arsenal defender Gael Clichy would be thrilled to cross swords with Barcelona in the Champions League final.
The left back, who did not start the 2006 final at Stade de France that The Gunners lost after Jens Lehmann was dismissed, dreams of a remake.
Clichy has confessed being an admirer of the Blaugranas’ stars, and the talented left back has declared that the ideal final would see Arsenal entertain the Catalonians.
The North Londoners are due to face Villarreal in the quarter finals, with former ‘invincible’ Robert Pires and Pascal Cygan expected to receive a standing ovation.
“A Champions League final is always a huge game and we would face a great team whatever happens,” Clichy told a press conference.
“But, for sure, I have a little soft spot for Barcelona because of their outstanding players.”
Arsenal and Barcelona could also meet during a glamorous friendly in Strasbourg next summer, with talks ongoing regarding a game at La Meinau.
