French football website France Football has compiled a list of football’s top earners, and unsurprisingly David Beckham tops the list.
The England midfielder is joined on the list by fellow England stars Wayne Rooney (8), Frank Lampard (9) and John Terry (10) and Milan team mates Kaka (6) and Ronaldinho (3).
Barcelona's Lionel Messi comes in second place while Manchester United’s Cristiano is fourth.
The poll takes into account earnings from playing football, plus monies generated through endorsements.
