  FABREGAS ... Barcelona target

   

  BARCELONA president Joan Laporta has confirmed he wants to nab Arsenal superstar Cesc Fabregas.

   

  Laporta is ready to offer around £45million to tempt Arsenal into selling their captain.

  Laporta said: “I would very much like to see Cesc wearing the shirt of Barcelona.

  “He was formed in our academy and it’s certain he’d adapt to our system.

  “We already have the best midfield in the world but you can always get better.”

  Fabregas has a contract to 2014 but has hinted he could move to Barcelona or Real Madrid this summer.

  Arsenal can expect a bidding frenzy between Spain’s two biggest clubs.

  I think it'll be like "if Wenger leaves he'll follow" that kind of scenario then he'll leave Arsenal.
