Jamie Carragher wants Liverpool to break Fulham’s “big four” hoodoo to prove The Reds deserve The Premier League title.
Liverpool travel to Craven Cottage on Saturday knowing they will go top of the table if they avoid defeat, but Carragher will settle for nothing less than victory.
Fulham have beaten Manchester United and Arsenal and drawn with Chelsea at Craven Cottage this season, but Carragher wants his side to show that they belong at the top.
“Chelsea only drew at Craven Cottage, they defeated Arsenal and we couldn’t beat them at Anfield so we’re talking about a very tough game for us,” Carragher said in The Daily Mirror.
“We’ve got to make sure we’re not another big team to drop points there.”
Liverpool have been the stand-out side when the big four have played each other this season, picking up 13 of a possible 15 points.
And Carragher believes that you only have to look at the previous week of Premier League matches to realize that Liverpool deserve this year’s crown.
“It just goes to show how well we’ve done this season when United lose two games in a week…we’ve only lost two all season.”
Tell them to help Liverpool and beat Man Utd and now say they want to bea them........ Such gratefull scrousers
