Ronaldinho is part of Milan’s plans for next season according to their head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Reports suggest that the Brazil international will move on from the San Siro at the end of the season, with Manchester City and Real Madrid believed to be on his tail.
The former Barcelona icon is yet to come up to expectations and has come in for criticism for an apparent lack of fitness.
But Ancelotti has stated that Ronaldinho has a future in Lombardia and will become an even more important player for the Rossoneri next term.
“He made a big impact but then picked up an ankle injury that ruled him out for a month and that made him lose his match fitness,” Ancelotti said on Sky Italia.
“I can guarantee you that he is feeling much better than before the international break.
“He worked hard, trained well despite the fact that he did not play in October, and he is going to come good shortly.
“You can bet on him for next season because he is settling into the team.”
