score 3 goals in an away match, against a team they just lost 3-1 at home to.
can be done, just very hard.
I don't think there is any team in UCL history that overcame a home defeat to win the tie before. but still, can be done, just very hard.
for bayern, even worse...
let see if Liverpool can beat Chelsea 3 Goals first (but it a though game actually)
For Barcelona u already through

If know the strategy of liverpool, easy to deal with it...
Defend, counter attack, set piece score with ivan again...

ya thats why chelsea r different from man u man u only knows how to attack but come to defend wise they cmi. but chelsea quite zai in defend against own english team
well, the difference is Essien. MU was unfortunate in losing OwenH. If he around, then MU's MF will be more complete. Chelsea is more efficient with the ball, after Jose's strategy, this is a fact.
its ok! we just needed 10 mins against AC milan ![]()
Never mind CL lah...get the BPL 1st...5 CL trophies...long way to go for Manure to catch but BPL...they need 1 more to equal leh...

1 more ur lj . since BPL STARTED ! LPOOL NEVER EVER WIN ANY TITLE ! 1 more is including pre-bpl era titles.
its just a name change
there was no system change besides the 2 points per win sincel long time ago ![]()
Err... Its more than just changing the name leh... Not that simple...
Before in the old Division 1 time, they came under the control of the Football League... When they change to the Premier League... they formed a limited company to oversee their own affairs... Meaning the 20 clubs now run their own affairs. They are a breakaway league from the old Division 1 to 4 which came under the Football League's control...
The Football League First Division, was well behind leagues such as Italy's Serie A and Spain's La Liga in attendances and revenues before the Premier League was introduced...
The Premier League is operated as a corporation and is owned by the 20 member clubs. Each club is a shareholder, with one vote each on issues such as rule changes and contracts. Before this was not the case... Now the clubs elect their own chairman, chief executive, and board of directors to oversee the daily operations of the league.
They have commercial independence from the Football Association and the Football League, giving the Premier League license to negotiate its own broadcast and sponsorship agreements. You could say they broke away to take advantage of the lucrative television rights deal. The argument given at the time was that the extra income would allow English clubs to compete with teams across Europe.
Since the change to the Premier League, clubs need to take better care of their own financial affairs... Running a football club was no long just something they had to do on the field only... Off it is just as important too... We have seen some doing very well in their marketing of their club brand and some very badly even going bankrupt... While some have remain stagnant...
Since the introduction of the Premier League, clubs are more able to afford stadiums improvements and match attendance and revenues has also risen...
So you see... Do not be confuse, It not just a name change that simple...
liverpool knocked out already la
Nike has it's "Just Do It" motto...
Adidas has one too, what is it? I can't remember...
I am a Liverpool fan, but it looks like its over. Liverpool have to score 3 goals to go through, 3-1 would push the tie into extra time. We're not talking about 3 goals against West Brom, Stoke City or Man U. Oh sorry Man U is not in their league, but Jffdevils will tell you Man U is in that company.![]()
So we're talking about 3 goals against Chelsea at stamford bridge. This is the Champions league quarter finals. I have to say no chance. Liverpool can now focus on the BPL, and they should.
why people are always talking about whether if liverpool can score 3 at stamford bridge??Hello, there's still Bayern Munich...

a lot of luck involved too.
milan missed a hell lot of chances that day.

i kinda agree with your assessment. the heart says it's still (remotely) possible, the head tells me it is almost impossible to decimate chelski at the bridge. well, stranger things have happened but i decided to skip the match of telly. (i like to wake up surprised this time round)
liverpool may eventually end up with nothing this season, but i think they showed alot of improvement. dun get me wrong, i think there is still a fighting chance that we pip man u.
man u may tie with us on the # of championship won, but i hope they will never overtake us.
when i saw rafa's rant #2 agst fergie on video during the ucl pre-match press conference, the cynical side of me tells me, `oh no'....will liverpool going thru' another bad patch?
