Arjen Robben will head a clear-out of Real Madrid's Dutch players in the summer if Florentino Perez takes the helm at the Bernabeu as he seeks to rebuild the squad, at least according to one report.
Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Royston Drenthe will all be offered to other clubs also as the Spanish giants look to bring in the players that will form the new president's ideal team.
Perez wants to raise funds and create space in the Madrid ranks for the stars that he hopes to attract, including Cristiano Ronaldo, who he believes would be incompatible with Robben, Marca state.
While clubs would be interested in the former PSV and Chelsea star, Los Merengues are tipped to ask for €30 million, just under what they paid for him two-and-a-half year ago.
Another aspect that has not impressed Perez about the choice of Robben is that he joined Madrid with a reputation for being injury-prone and has suffered numerous lay-offs during his time at the club.
When he plays the team benefits, but when he does not there is no back-up, and that is why, Marca say, the man that looks set to be named as the president again in June, will seek to find a more reliable option.
The other Dutch players are also all set to be told that they can find new clubs as they have not done enough to earn a place in the team that Perez is planning at Madrid.
Only Huntelaar has shown that he could be a star and will be kept on to head the front line, with Perez even mooting over whether to tell Raul his time at the the club is over.
Stories regarding Madrid's summer activity have focussed mainly around the players that that the would-be president will look to sign to secure votes at the election, but Marca believe that they now have the correct information regarding those who will be sold.
