Theo Walcott is ready to pledge his long-term future to Arsenal and become one of the highest-paid players at the Emirates Stadium.
Sportsmail's Matt Lawton revealed last week that Walcott was keen to agree a new contract with the Gunners and the youngster is now on the verge of signing a deal.
According to the Daily Express, the 20-year-old will more than treble his £20,000-a-week wages on a contract that will keep him in north London until 2014.
And England winger Walcott expects the glory days to return to Arsenal as Arsene Wenger's side take on Chelsea at Wembley tomorrow for a place in the final of the FA Cup.
The Gunners also have a Champions League semi-final against Manchester United to look forward to and Walcott said: 'Everyone is buzzing. We feel every team is scared of us as soon as we step on the pitch.'
Robin van Persie is also confident he will sign a new Arsenal contract, but admitted he was devastated to see fellow Dutchman Guus Hiddink become Chelsea's temporary manager.
'The first thing I thought was, "Oh no, Chelsea are still in the FA Cup and the Champions League and he will win something", Van Persie told the Express.
'He is unbelievable. Everything he does turns to gold. I saw him two years ago in Holland, because we use the same physio sometimes, and I asked to see his hands.
'He said, "Yes, why?" And I said that everything he put his hands on turns to gold.'
