Brazilian right-back Daniel Alves has voiced his relief at joining Barcelona rather than Chelsea.
The Blues almost signed Alves from Sevilla in 2007 but a move failed to materialise and he stayed at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for a further season.
Barcelona then snapped up the 25-year-old last summer and he has played a key part in their excellent campaign to date.
Alves is now looking forward to Barca's UEFA Champions League semi-final against Chelsea, with the first leg set to be held at Camp Nou on 28th April.
He has no regrets about not moving to Chelsea and now hopes his current side can knock them out of Europe.
"I was close to signing with Chelsea but luckily it did not happen and I moved to a team that suits me perfectly," Alves told Marca.
"I am convinced that we are going to give people something to speak about, in the Champions League. Barca are always amongst the favourites thanks to their football and their greatness.
"We are a step closer from our target, which is to make the final in Rome. What we must do is achieve a great work at home and then qualify up there.
"Barcelona are going to be a very tough adversary for Chelsea."
Chelsea also no regret leh.... ![]()
Normally the person who say never regret this or that, will lose to the opponent. ![]()
Chelsea got Boswinga this season, not really a loss for them either overall. But right back was Chelsea's weak area for a while.

Cole is back already (featured in the FA cup semi-final last night), but u're right there's no decent cover for that position.
